Swiss Chard Planting Tips

• Chard works great as a “cut and come again” crop. To harvest, cut the older leaves and let the younger ones continue to grow.
• Chard prefers slightly acidic soil.
• Chard is more tolerant of higher temperatures than many other “cold weather crops.”
