Broccoli Rabe Cooking and Planting Tips
- The greens, flowers and stalk are all edible.
- If you find you need to thin your broccoli rabe, you can eat the thinnings.
- Broccoli rabe tends to bolt quickly, so don’t be afraid to eat it when it’s young and tender.
- Broccoli rabe is easy to grow and cold hardy, but careful of a hard freeze!
